Aaron Swan and
Associates has prepared
Erosion Control Plans for all of their recent projects. Each Tribe or group of
Tribes have USEPA National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)
General Permits for Storm Water Discharge from Construction Sites.
Notice of Intent and Notice of Termination are available in Electronic Format
on the USEPA web site must be filed for any construction project over
five-acres. ASA regularly completes this information on line for their
clients.
Aaron Swan and
Associates design personnel
have all been trained and are certified as having completed the 2008 SDDENR
Storm Water Regulation Workshop.
In addition to the Erosion Control Plan, SWPPP Aaron Swan and Associates routinely prepares Traffic Control Plans for projects constructed on reservations.

The Mni Wiconi Pipeline
consists of: water treatment plant, several water storage reservoirs both ground
and elevated, several pumpstations, river crossings both buried and bridge
structure, and approximately 400 miles of mostly 26-inch diameter welded steel
water transmission pipeline with some minor PVC branch transmission pipelines.
Aaron Swan and
Associates (ASA) has provided the surveying, construction field engineering and
material testing services on Phases I, II, III, IV, V, VI, and XII.
In addition to the surveying services ASA is providing the "Field Engineering" which consists of preparing the USEPA and SDDENR surface water discharge permit, erosion control plans, traffic control plans and material testing.
