Mandan Power Line Project
Client: Nebraska Public Power

The Mandan Power Line extended 180 miles from Nebraska to North Dakota thru seven South Dakota counties and involved breakdown of 233 sections. The project involved approximately 20 GPS stations and 600 miles of primary and secondary traverses that were closed to a precision of better than 1:100,000.

Each corner recovered or set required a corner recordation form to be filed in the county court house. Three survey crews were required for this work, each crew had a backhoe and operator for corner recovery.

Survey involving Search, Restore, Monument HES and MS corners, and Clear and Post 22 miles of National Forest Boundary.

Antelope Power Transmission Line Location Survey
Client: Basin Electric Co-op, Bismark, ND

The Antelope Power Line Survey extended 160-miles thru seven counties from Beadle Co., SD to Emmons Co., ND. The survey required cadastral control and the section breakdown along the entire route. Each corner recovered or set required a corner recordation form to be filed in the county court house. The project concluded with the construction staking of each transmission tower.

 

Ash Creek Bridge Rehabilitation Cheyenne River Indian Reservation, SD
Client: Dept. of the Interior-Bureau of Indian Affairs, Cheyenne River Indian Reservation

Survey for this project involved a bridge hydraulic, location, ROW, Platting, Topographic and Construction staking for a 105-foot bridge and channel stabilization.  Ash Creek is located on BIA RT 11 approximately .3 miles West of the Community of Cherry Creek on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service
Contract No. 241-96-022 
 
Fixed price, requirements type contract with a period of performance for one year and four one year options thereafter on the Fort Berthold, Fort Totten, and Standing Rock Indian Reservations. Right of way surveying and plat maps for each tract, parcel, or separate ownership of land
crossed by proposed rural water secondary distribution pipelines and water service lines, and to provide monumentation of the surveyed right of way. (1996 – 2001)
Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service
Contract No. 241-01-016 
 
Fixed price, requirements type contract with a period of performance for one year and four one year options thereafter with modification to include Facility Management boundary and mapping projects on the Pine Ridge, Crow Creek, Lower Brule, Cheyenne River, Rosebud, Lake Traverse,
Yankton Sioux, Spirit Lake, Fort Berthold, Fort Totten, and Standing Rock Indian Reservations. Right of way surveying and/or Topographic mapping and plat maps for each tract, parcel, or separate ownership of land crossed by proposed rural water secondary distribution pipelines and 
water service lines or facility
locations and to provide monumentation of the surveyed lands. (2001 – 2007)
