ROADWAY DESIGN
ROADWAY AND HIGHWAY DESIGN PROJECTS
Aaron Swan and Associates has designed more than 250 miles of roadway. This has included four-lane divided Interstate and Primary Highways as well as BIA and Secondary Highways. Many of the roadway designs have been Urban Systems which involved water, sewer, storm sewer, sidewalks, drives, curb and gutter. These projects include both PCC and Asphalt Surfacing.
The designs include either balanced or borrow earthwork and cross-sections. Often times the plans include ROW plans, plats, strip maps, erosion control, and traffic control plans. Some of the special features included in the urban projects are: storm water holding ponds, lift stations, street lighting, traffic signalization, and underground areaway reconstruction.
