Aaron Swan and Associates performed their hydraulic analysis for this project using the HEC-RAS Model (Boss version 3.1.3).  This criterion was used to calculate the water surface elevations and flow volumes for the proposed structure for 50 year and 100 year storm events.  The data was used to determine the height of the earthen dam (storage capacity of the reservoir) and the size of the spillway.

Aaron Swan and Associates designed a 623 foot composite weathering steel bridge over the Jemez River in New Mexico.  HEC-RAS routing was used to calculate water surface elevations and flow volumes for 50 year and 100 year storm events through the proposed structure.

Duties included site reconnaissance for the type, size and location of the proposed structure.  The hydraulic study required special analyses due a dam located downstream for the proposed structure.
