REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT

 

CRHA BADGER SUBDIVISION

EAGLE BUTTE SOUTH DAKOTA

CLIENT: CHEYENNE RIVER HOUSING AUTHORITY

Project is a 160-acre residential subdivision with 192 lots plus areas for multifamily buildings, playground and parks. The layout of the entire project was controlled by the natural lay of the land for the most economical design of the gravity storm water and sanitary sewer collection systems.  Water and sewer services, driveway and approach pavement were provided to each lot. Easements and roadway crossing for power, telephone and street lighting were part of the design.

This project was surveyed, planned, designed, and the construction monitored by Aaron Swan and Associates ASA.  The involved site grading; storm sewer collection, retention and discharge; sanitary sewer collection, lift station and force main; water transmission line, elevated water storage and water distribution; street grading, pavement design and concrete curb and gutter; layout of single family homes, multi-family residents, playgrounds and parks. 

ASA prepared the plans, specifications, advertised and bid the project and is providing contract administration and construction observation. The cost for the infrastructure portion of the project, not including housing is $6 million.
